Important Message from St. Francis de Sales
We are thrilled to announce that the celebration of public mass will resume on Friday, May 15, 2020. However, under the guidelines provided by the Archdiocese as well as the City and County of Denver, attendance is limited. We will be offering for now only our regular weekday Masses Monday through Friday by appointment only. We are considering for now that Saturday and Sunday Liturgy will be scheduled later. For your own safety and the safety of others, please do not come to St. Francis de Sales for Mass if you have not been scheduled for a Mass or if you are symptomatic or living with anyone who is symptomatic.
With our staff, we have been working to design a system that is (hopefully) convenient and fair to all. To sign up we ask that parishioners call the Parish Office at 303-744-7211. When you call you will receive your date for attending Liturgy. For those who are scheduled to come to Mass, more detailed instruction may be provided prior to your appointment.
Keep in mind that Archbishop Aquila has dispensed the obligation of Sunday Mass and there will be options to attend weekday Masses.
We understand that there is a great longing for the Eucharist. However, if you are in the at-risk category, the state, county, and Archdiocese urge you to consider the risks and remain at home for your own protection if needed.
The method we employ to schedule Mass is not perfect, and we will do our best to minimize problems and inconvenience to you. We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation as we do our best to provide the Eucharist for you as frequently as possible under limited circumstances. We will keep you informed as things continue to evolve. If you have any questions or concerns regarding Mass, please contact us at SFDSPARISHDENVER.com or 303-744-7211.
Yours through Christ,
Tony Johnson
God Bless you!
